Caleb Lampkin will display his senior art exhibit at the University of Arkansas at Monticello April 22 through May 1 in the Spencer Gallery of the UAM Fine Arts Center.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
An artist’s reception and talk will be held in conjunction with the exhibition’s opening at 3 p.m. April 22 in the Spencer Gallery.
Lampkin’s work includes paintings, drawings, sculptures and collages that have fractured and abstracted subjects to create dynamic recollections.
Lampkin’s work “captures the ever-shifting perception of reality while maintaining the form and original structure of the subject,” said Tom Richard, professor of art at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
