Cane Creek State Park will host four day camps for children this summer, two in June and two in July.

The first two camps are for ages 7-13 and focus on land versus water. The first of the two June camps, Terrestrials Day Camp, is all about the land animals. The second camp, Plunge into Aquatics Day Camp, focuses on water and the flora and fauna that inhabit the park.

The two camps in July are a little bit different and focus primarily on survival skills and discovery. The first camp in July is Survival Skills Day Camp for ages 7-13. This camp is designed to teach what to do out in the wild if you were left to your own devices. The final camp is Discovery Day Camp and is for ages 5-9 and primarily for those that are not quite sure what they think of the outdoors yet and this gives them a fun and safe environment to discover what the outdoors have to offer.

All camps are $50 per child per camp and more than one camp can be attended. Camp times and dates are below. To make reservations, call 870-628-4714.
