A 24-year-old Kingsland man, arrested in connection with the December 20 shooting deaths of his father and another man, had his parole revoked this week.
Christopher J., Scruggs had been released from prison in October after receiving a two-year suspended sentence while serving a five-year sentence burglary.
Scruggs is alleged to have fatally shot his father, Ernest Scruggs, 60, of Kingsland, and Charles Rachaner, 67, also of Kingsland. He was arrested in Dallas County on December 21, following a 10-hour manhunt.
The homicides occurred in Cleveland County on Crossroads Road near Highway 167, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office.
