Carolyn Sue Stover Connell, 64, of Eudora, passed away peacefully at her home on June 16, 2017 after a lengthy illness.
She was born on July 11, 1952 to the late Harvey Ray Stover and Laverne Williamson Stover in Monroe, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Rhonda Arnett.
Mrs. Connell is survived by her husband of 39 years, Scottie Connell of Eudora; a daughter, Tina Reel of Texarkana; a son, Scottie Connell and wife Alecia of Kilbourne, Louisiana; a brother, Stanley Stover and wife, Denise of Cypress, Texas; three sisters, Darlene Callaway and husband, Tim of Eudora, Kona Waits and husband, Lane of Forest, Louisiana, and Hope Bennett and husband, Terry Lochla of Crossett; eight grandchildren; BreeAnna Roberts and husband Gunnar, Emme Reel, Elle Reel, David Reel, Riley Connell, Ally Beth Connell, Vega Jones, and Lydia Connell, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
Pallbearers are Jason Hosak, Patrick O’Neal, Ed Armstrong, Travis Ruffin, Adam Costello, and Adam Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Timbo Callaway, John Smith, Kevin Green, Gary Armstrong, Frank Serio, Mike Sims, John Newell, Lindy Brown, Joe Serio, and David Overton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 20, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora, with Bro. Mark Brown officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village.
