Charles Ralph Foster, 84, of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, formerly, of Eudora, Arkansas died on April 4, 2019 at Jackson Veterans Home in Jackson, Mississippi.
Mr. Foster was born on March 6, 1935 in Dewitt to the late Ralph F. Foster and the late Virgie (Baugus) Foster. He was a member of Eudora Baptist Church, served in the US Army from 1957 to 1962 and was gin worker for Selman’s Cotton Gin in Eudora, Arkansas for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Elizabeth Densmore Foster; brother, Stanley Foster; a sister, Barbra Mejia; and grandson, Ken Stephens.
He is survived by two daughters, Mary Margaret McCown and Willene McPherson and husband (Larry) all of Crystal Springs, Mississippi; two grandsons, Jim Stephens and wife, Angie of Crystal Springs, Mississippi and Win Stephens and wife, Lindsey of Petal, Mississippi; two great-grandchildren, Sidnie and Wesley Stephens; and other friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Eudora Baptist Church in Eudora. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church with Bro. Jimmy Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora.
