Charles Ray Edmonds, Sr., 84, of Star City passed away on November 20, 2019 at Lincoln Heights Healthcare.
He was born on August 7, 1935 in Lincoln County to the late George Carl and Beulah Ann Morrison Edmonds.
Mr. Edmonds was a retired brick mason; loved to hunt and ride his tractor; and loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Henthorne Edmonds; daughter, Christi Marie Edmonds Rojas; son, Jeffery Allen Edmonds; three brothers, Herbert Edmonds, JG Edmonds and Joe Edmonds; and a sister, Marnell Green.
Survivors include two sons, Chuck Edmonds of Glendale and Rusty (Pearl) Edmonds of Hot Springs; two daughters, Cathy Edmonds and Kim (Joe) Hall, both of Star City; two brothers, Bill (Ardath) Edmonds and Mackie (Vickie) Edmonds, both of Star City; a sister, Mary Bradshaw of Leesburg, Florida; seven grandchildren, Katie Jo (Ray) Taylor, Taylor Hall, Laura (Zach) Robertson, Codi (Shea) Simmons, DesaRay Rojas, Amanda Robertson and Zack (Mandi) Robertson; six great-grandchildren, Daxton Robertson, Gracie Robertson, Hunter Robertson, Creed Robertson, Stone Abernathy and Shaylee Simmons.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Kim Hall, 696 Autumn Hills Road, in Star City.
