Christopher Careeve Haynes, 41, of Pine Bluff, formerly of Crossett, passed away on June 8, 2016 in Stuttgart.
He was a supervisor at Riceland in Stuttgart and a member of Highland Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. He loved his family, enjoyed working out and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Haynes was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and raised in Crossett.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ann Haynes and one brother, Aaron Webb.
He is survived by his wife of four years Bennetta Green-Haynes; his father, James Hampton, Jr. and stepmother, Maggie of Hamburg; three sons, Marcus Haynes of Hamburg, Tyland Love of Rockford, Illinois, and Percy Smith of Pine Bluff; five daughters, Nycole Haynes, Cortney Haynes, Yasmine Haynes, all of Crossett, and Kenya Pugh and Maricia Bennett, both of Pine Bluff; five brothers, James Hampton III and Chris Hampton, both of Arlington, Texas, Steven Hampton of Fayetteville, K.J. Harris of Killeen, Texas and Kerry Brock of Las Vegas, Nevada; five sisters, LaTashia Dye and husband Dennis of Austin, Texas, Verceolia Brown and husband Bruntron of Killeen, Texas, Monica Carter and husband Darrell, Shaffie Miller and Talisha Simpson, all of Crossett; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on June 15 at 1 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church in Crossett with Rev. Christopher Mack, officiating. Pallbearers are Greg Smith, Sonny Lewis, Nakia Hawkins, Timothy Goree, Keith Williams and Tommy Wardlow. Honorary pallbearers are Crossett High School Class of 1994 and the Employees of Riceland. Burial will be at Quinn Cemetery.
Visitation is June 14 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Cromwell Funeral Home in Hamburg.
