Cleoda Marnell Schee, 71, of Watson, passed away on September 29, 2019 at her home.
She was born on June 6, 1948 in Dumas and was the daughter of the late Edgar Oliver and Annie Belle Boyette Williams. She was a Christian and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schee was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Schee; her twin brother, Odell Williams; brother, Virgil Williams; sister, Betty Joyce Martinez and (Betty’s twin) Billy Joe Williams.
Mrs. Schee was a butcher at Fletcher’s in Gillett for years. She loved working there, especially during hunting season when hunters would bring in their game. She loved the outdoors, had a lifetime fishing license, and enjoyed helping Sherry with her goats. But most of all she loved her grandbabies.
Mrs. Schee is survived by a son, Billy Ray Walters, Jr. and wife Shelbi of Back Gate; two daughters, Sherry Patterson and husband Jeff of Watson and Jackie Morgan of Dumas; two sisters, Caroline Hacker and husband Curt of Dumas, and Myrtle Williams of McGehee; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 3, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Jo White officiating. Burial will be at Scott Cemetery.
