Climmie Cunningham Palumbo, 84, of Hamburg, died on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Crossett Rehabilitation and Health Center.
Mrs. Palumbo was a native of Ashley County, a resident of the Judson Community outside of Hamburg for many years and a former resident of Chicago, Illinois for 12 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Judson Missionary Baptist Church. Those who knew Climmie knew that she loved to talk and visit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Palumbo in 1974; her parents, Tommy and Viola Owens Cunningham and three brothers, Morris, Don and C.B. Cunningham.
She is survived by a brother, Robbie Cunningham of Hamburg; five sisters, Pauline McNeice of Crossett, Connie Vanhook, Marcille Hill, Madie Carpenter and Austoline Croswell all of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 24, at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Willie Thornhill and Bro. James Morris officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery.
Pallbearers are her nephews, Glen McNeice, Jerry Pilgrim, Tommy Pilgrim, Steve Cunningham, David Cunningham, Keith Cunningham, James Cunningham, Dennis Carpenter, Mike Croswell, Donald Barnett, Joe McNeice, Charles McNeice and Randy McNeice.
