Clyde Gerald Shaw, 84, of Monticello passed away on June 17, 2016 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a self-employed auto dealer, and member of the Monticello Church of Christ. He loved fishing, sports and was an avid Razorback fan.
Mr. Shaw was born on May 24, 1932 in Nashville, Arkansas and was the son of the late Andy O’Neal Shaw, Sr. and Morgan Price Shaw.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Russell Shaw; a son, Randall Price Shaw; five brothers, Vaughn Shaw, Paul Shaw, J.T. Shaw, Andy Shaw, Jr. and Dwight Shaw; and two nephews, Johnny Shaw and Steven Shaw.
Survivors include two stepsons, Rusty Feeser and wife Susan of Ringgold, Georgia and Ronnie Feeser and wife Debbie of Monticello; a nephew, Andy Shaw, III of Little Rock; five nieces, Sandra Marks Adams and husband Wayne of Crossett, Deborah Shaw Akin and husband William of Crossett, Judy Shaw Mason and husband Mark of Auburn, Washington, Rhonda Shaw Flemister and Mike of Monroe, Louisiana and Johnna Shaw Courtney and husband Michael of Hot Springs; and two grandsons, Captain Ron Feeser and wife Amanda of Moron, Spain and Russ Feeser of Monticello.
Funeral service will be held on June 24 at 10 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Monticello. Visitation will be June 23 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
