Anderson, a 2014 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, will perform at the festival finale on June 11.
In a career spanning nearly 40 years, Anderson has has amassed multiple awards and charted more than 40 hits, including Straight Tequila Night and Swingin’. His latest album, Goldmine, was named one of the top 40 country albums of 2015 by Rolling Stone.
Nashville singer and songwriter Ward Davis will open for Anderson.
Davis, a Drew County native, recently released his first full-length album of original material. The album, 15 Years In A 10-Year Town, includes eight self-penned songs along with the Ed Bruce classic, Old Wore Out Cowboys, a collaboration with Willie Nelson and Jamey Johnson.
Since moving to Nashville in 2000, Davis has written songs recorded by Trace Adkins, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Wade Hayes, Sammy Kershaw and many others.
