Craig Alan Towles, 64, of McGehee, passed away on December 30, 2016.

He was the former owner and operator of Catfish Kitchen in McGehee for 33 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and work in his garden. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandsons. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

Mr. Towles was born in Dermott on July 11, 1952 to the late Clifford Dewayne and Bessie Rose Towles.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Sammy Towles.

Survivors include his daughters, Nikki Hood (A.J.) of Monticello and Tracey Towles (Drew Level) of McGehee; brothers, Clifford (Sandy) Towles of Vilonia and Billy Don (Susan) Towles of McGehee; sisters, Laura (Danny) Branch of McGehee, Debby Towles of McGehee and Jackie (George) Sheppard of Hot Springs; and grandsons, Jon Parker Level and Jon Elliot Hood.

Visitation will be held 5-7pm Monday, January 2, 2017 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee with Revs. Larry Donaldson and Ben White officiating. Burial will be at McGehee Cemetery.
