Craig Henley, 58, of Star City passed away May 30, 2021 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was born March 4, 1963 in Lincoln County to the late John and Mary Louise McGehee Henley.
He was retired from Terminex and was the minister at Daniel Chapel Baptist Church near Backgate (Desha County) where he was a member. Craig was also a member of the Baptist Association, the Greenmount Cemetery Committee, loved to read his Bible and also loved his grandchildren very much.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Baby Johnny Henley, Morris Henley, J.B. Henley and a sister, Sandra Luker.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years Rebecca Spainhour Henley of Star City; one son, Josh Henley (Heather) of Monticello; a daughter, Heather Henley Johnson (Justin) of Star City; one brother, Rodney Henley (Joann) of Star City; three sisters, Bonnie George of Pine Bluff, Kristy Peyton of Star City and Jenny Wynn (Clay) of Star City; five grandchildren, Jarrett Johnson, Jake Johnson, John Johnson, Jesse Blevins, Jaycee Henley and many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 2, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
Services will be held Thursday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at the Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City with Bro. Alan Eppinnette and Clay Wynn officiating. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Johnny Henley, Daniel Luker, Brandon George, Justin George, Christopher Peyton, Clayton Wynn, Brody Barnett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Henley, Justin Johnson, Jarrett Johnson, Jake Johnson, John Johnson, Jesse Blevins, Clay Wynn, James Stewart, Rodney Henley, Willie Plunkett, and Glen Heinzelman.
