A Crossett man was killed early Saturday morning in a one-vehicle accident in Union County.
John D. “J.D” Andrews, 27, was traveling south on U.S. 167-B in El Dorado at 6:46 a.m. when his Ford pickup truck crossed two northbound lanes, jumped a concrete curb and came to rest against a steel pole, according to a State Police accident report.
Andrews, the father of three daughters, was a welder for an El Dorado business.
He survived by his fiancé Kim Tyler of Crossett; three daughters, Kaydence Reese Andrews and Alayna Grace Andrews, both of South Carolina and Aubrey Lynn Andrews of Crossett; his mother, Pamela McKinney of Crossett; his step-father, Donnie McKinney and his step-mother, Wanda Andrews; three sisters, Amy Switzer of Houston, Texas, Niki Foster of Dardanelle, AR and Jaci McKinney of Las Vegas, NV; his grandparents, Audrey Pryor and Hazel Andrews Townsend (Lloyd), all of Crossett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Crossett with burial at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
