Cynthia Carolyn Nobles Boardman, 53, of Star City passed away on November 15, 2016 at her home.
She was born November 14, 1963 in Jefferson County to Raymond Nobles and the late Ruth Abbygail Hill Morris Nobles.
Mrs. Boardman married Ronnie Boardman on May 30, 1986. She was a 1982 graduate of Star City High School. She professed Christ as her savior while attending Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in the Butler Community. She worked for Tri-County Rural Health Network out of West Helena, where she helped others gain access to healthcare providers and equipment.
Mrs. Boardman was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Verdia and Blanch Gray Hill and Thomas Alonzo and Ollie Lee (Doats) Person Nobles; and a stepson, Rusty Boardman.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Boardman; father, Raymond Nobles; two daughters, Megan Lucille Boardman and Abbey Gray Boardman; a stepdaughter, Debbie Allison, all of Star City; a stepson, Richie Boardman of Clarksville; four brothers, Thomas Lewis “Biff” Morris, Jr., David Alonza Nobles, Paul Raymond Nobles and John Phillip Nobles; a sister, Connie Rae Nobles Brown, all of Star City; and numerous other family and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held on November 19 at 10 a.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Mark Weatherford officiating.
Visitation is November 17 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tyler Nobles, Corey Nobles, Justin Morgan, Chase Ferguson, Tim Ferguson, Erick Acuchi and Richie Boardman.
