Cynthia “Cindie” Sue Coy Carter, 61, of Star City, died on July 31, 2017 at Lincoln Heights Healthcare in Star City.
She was a retired self-employed concrete worker.
She was born on March 31, 1956 in Eugene, Oregon to the late Kenneth and Beverly Crouse Coy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Jesse “JW” Law.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie Leonard Carter of Pine Bluff; two sons, Kenny (Cortney) Daniels and Jesse Law, of Bonifay, Florida; a stepson; two daughters, Nina (Calvin) Holloway of Star City and Jessica (James) Benson of Eros, Louisiana; two step-daughters; a brother, Kenneth “Bo” Coy of Nebraska; eight sisters, Vicki (Howard) Hawkins of Missouri, Debbie (Tom) Thorndike of Washington, Brenda Coy, Theresa (Chuck) Sampson, Kim Coy, Sandy McCoy and Loretta Coy, all of Nebraska, and Melissa Rustermier of Missouri; 13 grandchildren, Josh, Breanna, Tylar, Levi, Dillan, Daniel, Adam, Shelby, Kayla, Journey, Faith, Grace and Dawson; two step-grandchildren and on great-grandchild, Zayden.
A family gathering will be held at a later date.
