Daniel A. Barley, Jr., 83, of Eudora, died August 13, 2014, at Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lake Village.
He was an army veteran and a member of Northside Baptist Church of Eudora.
Mr. Barley was born on December 18, 1930 in Chicot County and was the son of the Daniel A. Barley, Sr. and Zola Eunice Castle.
He was preceded in by his parents; a daughter, Rita Barley White; and three sisters, Betty Boyde, Louise Graves, and Marie Norrell.
Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth J. Barley of Eudora; a son, Richard Barley and wife, Diana of Rye; two daughters, Ramona Breedlove and husband James of Eudora and Rebecca Barley of Eudora; a brother, James Edward and wife Martha of Plano, Texas; a sister, Eunice Crosby of Columbia, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Renea White, Wayne White, Kristy Breedlove, Scott Breedlove, Josh Barley and Kelly Payne; and four great-grandchildren, Luke, Benjamin, Jacob, and Emily.
Visitation is August 14 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. Funeral services will be held August 15 at 2 p.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Bro. Richard Barley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
