David Earl English, 52, of Monticello, died May 13, 2020, at St. Vincent North in North Little Rock.
He was born February 27, 1968, to the late James and Jeanetta Fay Sarrels English in Searcy.
Mr. English retired from the Monticello School District where he worked in the maintenance department. He was a retired firefighter and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying model airplanes and playing the drums. He was also a great cook and loved to barbeque.
Mr. English was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tony Lynn English and Bobby Lynn English.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Renee Warren English; a son, Samuel Earl English of Monticello; a daughter, Bailey Elizabeth English of Monticello; a nephew, Jessie Lynn English and wife Catlin; and a niece, Brooke Ann Wagner and husband Mike.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 17, at 10:45 a.m. at Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. David Jacks officiating. The service will be live streamed via Facebook @ Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, as well as services in the church with social distancing being practiced. Additionally, the service will be broadcast on 88.1 FM. A family graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Green Hill Cemetery.
