David Jackson Garrett, 76, of Dumas, passed away on June 21, 2015 in Pine Bluff.
He was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Mc Gehee, employed by Merchant & Farmers Bank for 37 years and served in the Arkansas National Guard and US Army.
Mr. Garrett was born at Lake Village on March 28, 1939 and was the son of David Hugh Garrett and Dorothy Sue Ragland Garrett.
In addition to his parents, a brother, Paul Garrett and a sister, Dorothy Mae Thompson preceded him in death.
Survivors are his wife, Pat Garrett of Dumas, Arkansas, one son, Bryan and wife, Judy Garrett of Hot Springs, Arkansas, two daughters, Brigette and husband, Eddie Fuhrman of Cabot, Arkansas and Britany and husband, Matthew Mc Donald of Magnolia, Arkansas, one sister, Barbara Mitchell of Oxford, Mississippi, two grandsons, Zane (Jennifer) Garrett, Seth Garrett and three granddaughters, Paige Fuhrman, Savannah and Sarah Mc Donald.
A graveside service will be held on June 26 at 1 p.m. at Dark Corner Cemetery with Rev. Tom Bowlby officiating.
