Master Gardener online training for new members will be available January 2 through March 31, 2019. The deadline to sign up for this training is December 1.

There will be a suggested timeline for the course week-by-week, but you can work at your own pace, as long as you finish the course by March 31.

Each potential volunteer/participant should fill out a Master Gardener Online Training application, due back to the extension office by November 26. The application can be obtained on the University of Arkansas Extension Service website or by contacting Louisa Smith at 870-723-3560. The application must be returned to:

Steve Kelley
Drew County Extension Office
210 South Main Street
Monticello, Arkansas 71655.

After an interview process, acceptance into the program, and payment of $120, participants will be set up to take the course online. At the same time, a mentor will be assigned to assist, answer questions, and lead participants through the process.
