DeAnna Kaye Ross Carr

DeAnna Kaye Ross Carr, 54, of Crossett, passed away on October 8, 2021, at her home, surrounded by family.

She was born on April 24, 1967, was a lifelong resident of Crossett, and a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.

DeAnna was a kind and compassionate country girl who loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and tending to her flowers, but especially enjoyed riding horses and rodeoing with her friends.

DeAnna was the biggest supporter and confidant to the many whom she called friends. She was also a loving wife and daughter and a proud “Momma D” to her children but becoming “Nana” was by far her proudest moment, and her grandbabies were her world.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ralph D. Jackson; one brother, Steve Stevenson; and grandparents, Terrell and Letha Glennon.

She leaves behind her husband, Oscar Carr of Crossett; six children, Blake Laing (Tasha), and Devin Ross, of Crossett, Douglas Ross of Norfolk, Virginia, Shane Ross (Kati) of Jacksonville, Florida, Jamie Newhouser (Casey) of Crossett, and Johnny Carr of Milpitas, California; three brothers, Scott Stevenson, Bennie Ray Cochran, Jr. (Sharon), and Darren Cochran; mother and stepfather, Dianne and Bennie Cochran; and her stepmother, Bren Jackson all of Crossett; and four grandchildren, Parker, Palmer, Rozy, and Lulu.

A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held Tuesday, October 12, at 2 p.m. at the Crossroads Cemetery with Bro. James Harrington officiating followed by a brief visitation with friends.

Pallbearers are Byron Jackson, Clayton Collins, Greg Watt, Zach Cochran, Coy Davis, and Bodie Glennon.
