Debra Wesson, 56, of Fountain Hill, died on December 19, 2018.
Mrs. Wesson was a native of Pasadena, Texas and a resident of Fountain Hill for more than 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed Facebooking with her family and friends, playing card games with her family, and loved talking to her grandbabies and family on the telephone.
She was preceded in death by her father, Junior Fleming; her mother, Illa Faye Henderson Wesson; two sisters, Virginia Fleming and Lucrecia Bradley and a brother, Joseph Calvin Fleming, III.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ray Wesson of Fountain Hill; her children, Joseph Ray Wesson of Fountain Hill and Melissa Faylene Graves of Gulfport, Mississippi; her brothers, David Wesson of Wilmar and Wayne Wesson of Warren; her sisters-in-law, Marlene Curry of Fountain Hill and Christy Brazier of Crossett; a brother-in-law, Brad Graham of Hamburg; three grandchildren, Illa McCartney, Michelle McCartney and Michael McCartney and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 23 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Bill Elton officiating. Burial will be at the Zion Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Brad Moffat, Clint Jeffers, David Carter, Gerald Jennings, Jody Edwards, Thomas Tillman, Josh Tillman and Brian Slaughter.
