Dennis Lee Lemonds, 64, of Bald Knob, formerly of Gould, passed away on September 8, 2016 at Bald Knob.
He served in the United States Army, worked in agriculture for a number of years and was a member of Rankin Chapel Baptist Church in Dumas.
Mr. Lemonds was born on December 23, 1951 at Snyder and was the son of the late Homer D. and Virginia Lee Murray Lemonds.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Survivors are two sons, Clay (Amanda) Lemonds of Gillett, Dennis Lee (Penny) Lemonds, Jr. of Bald Knob and daughter, Sonja Lemonds of Bald Knob; four brothers, John Lemonds of Russellville, Thomas Lemonds of Gould, Delmer Lemonds of Watson and Homer Joe Lemonds of Dumas; four sisters, Thelma Hughes of Gould, Jean Ratteree of Rison, Kathy Bohannon of Gould and Diann Beck of Cleveland, Mississippi, and four grandchildren, Jeremy, Candace, Mathew and Andrew.
Visitation is September 10 at 1 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home. Rev. Monty Meeks will officiate. Burial will be at the Dark Corner Cemetery.
