The 5th Annual Dermott Community Festival will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 19-20.
The festival will feature music, crawfish dinners, and a carnival.
In keeping with this year’s theme “Boots & Buckles”, festival goers are encouraged to “break out your boots, buckles and hats.”
The headline entertainment will be William Staggers and Treo, performing on Saturday from 8 p.m. until midnight. The Cummins Prison Band will perform on Friday from noon until 3 p.m. and Saturday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The festival will open at 11 a.m. with a gospel hour on Friday and Saturday. T-shirt sales, crawfish dinners and all vendors will be open.
The Marriott Carnival family night opens with family night on Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a special appearance by Dancing Starz from St. Louis, Missouri.
Cash Bingo will be held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Dermott Chamber of Commerce.
