Diane Clark Vogler, 70, of Flower Mound, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2015.
She was a graduate of McGehee High School, the University of Arkansas at Monticello and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She spent 44 years in education as a teacher and principal prior to her retirement. She remained a member of the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association. Her commitment to education was apparent to all that knew her.
Diane was passionate about her work with the United Methodist Women for which she received many awards and recognitions. Diane served as Vice-president of the National United Methodist Women. Diane’s family and friends were most important to her. Spending time with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.
She was born at Lake Village on January 11, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Stuart and Tompye Clark.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, the late Richard Vogler.
Survivors include two daughters, Amy Vogler of Flower Mound, Texas and Jodi Vogler of Lewisville, Texas; and two grandchildren, Jackson Vogler and Campbell Vogler.
A celebration of Diane’s life will be held on December 4 at 4 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 6701 JFK Blvd. in North Little Rock. Interment will be held on December 5 at 11 a.m. at McGehee Cemetery in McGehee.
