District Judge Ken Harper was arrested in Lincoln County Tuesday night for driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit to a chemical test and driving left of center, according to Lincoln County Sheriff Larry McGee.
McGee said Lincoln County Deputy Bo Hudson pulled the Monticello district judge over on U.S. 425 about two miles north of Star City at 6:15 p.m. after someone reported seeing a southbound vehicle crossing the center line. The caller’s description of the vehicle matched the vehicle Harper was driving, according to McGee.
Following a field sobriety test, Hudson arrested Harper and transported him to the Lincoln County jail. He was released on bond Tuesday night, according to McGee.
