Donald Harold Scucchi, Sr., 68, passed away on April 19, 2017 at his son’s home in Benoit, Mississippi.

Born on July 17, 1948 in Lake Village to the late Johnny and Zelma Busti Scucchi, Mr. Scucchi was a resident of Hamburg for 34 years and worked construction for Systems Contractors in El Dorado until retiring in 2013. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener.

In addition ot his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Tommy Scucchi, Paul Scucchi, Louis Scucchi, Billy Scucchi, and Bobby Scucchi, and a granddaughter, Darby Scucchi.

He is survived by a daughter, Leslie McLeod; three sons, Donnie Scucchi (Regina) of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Matthew Scucchi (Donna) of Benoit, Mississippi, Rico Scucchi (Jessica) of Gordonsville, Tennessee; brother, James Scucchi (Toni) of Crossett, Arkansas; two sisters, Deloris Scucchi Poyner of Rohwer and Martha Scucchi Hayes (Danny) of Lake Village; five grandchildren, Ashley Carroll, Brittany Meissner, Nicolas Scucchi, Karmyn Mays, Gavin Amos, Rachel Scucchi, and Ella White; three great-grandchildren, Savannah, Jamison, and Mark; a special niece, Jamie Crumpler Stallans of Lake Village; a godson, Maddox French, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loved ones.

Visitation will be Friday, April 21, 2017 from 6:00-7:00pm with Rosary at 7pm at Bishop King Funeral Home, Lake Village, Arkansas. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:30pm at Our Lady of the Lake, 314 South Lakeshore, Lake Village, Arkansas with Father Theophillus Okpara officiating. Burial will be at St. Isidore Cemetery in Lake Village following Mass. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
