Donald Wayne Bozeman, 70, of Portland, passed away on January 13, 2016, at his home in Jennie.
He was a welder on the pipeline and a farmer. He was a member of Auld’s Baptist Church, a Mason, and a Shriner
Mr. Bozeman was born on August 14, 1945, in Monroe, Louisiana and was the son of Elizabeth Hamilton and the late Victor Bozeman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Bozeman and his stepfather, Lowell Hamilton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Frances Willoughby Bozeman; his mother, Elizabeth Rutledge Hamilton; a son, Donald M. Bozeman and wife, Becky of Portland; two step-daughters, Beth Powell of Leland, Mississippi, and Britt Powell of Greenville, Mississippi; two sisters, Barbara Wicker and husband, Dan of Portland and Janice Poland and husband, Lamar of Oak Grove, Louisiana; a grandson, Masten Bozeman; four step-grandchildren, Lauren and Blair Poe, and Trey and Ty Powell; a step great-granddaughter, Mackenzie King; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is January 15 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on January 16 at 10 a.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Jennie Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
