Donna Pollock, 56, of Hamburg, died August 25, 2020, at her residence.
She was a native of Oak Grove, Louisiana and a resident of Hamburg for the past 40 years.
Mrs. Pollock was a homemaker and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. She loved to sing, enjoyed hearing her grandchildren sing, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jamie Pollock in 2008 and Joseph “Joey” Pollock in 2019; her parents, Harland and Barbara McDaniels Abernathy and a sister, Dinky McDaniel.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ricky A. Pollock of Hamburg; a son, Joshua Pollock and wife, Stacy, of Hamburg; two special daughters, Chasidy Bissell and Kaylee Bissell both of Crossett; three brothers, Harland Abernathy, Jr., and wife, Sharon, Randy Abernathy and wife, Angie, all of Crossett and Shonni Abernathy of Florida; a sister, Shonna Skender and husband, Derek, of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Destiny Tassin, Britiny Pollock, Kami Pollock and Gavin Pollock; a great-granddaughter, Alice Pollock and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28, at 10 a.m. at the pavilion at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. A private burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday at the church pavilion from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m.
