Dorothy “Marvelene” Stepp, 84, formerly of Eudora, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2021, in Louann, Arkansas.

Marvelene was born September 8, 1936, to the late Marvin and Dorothy Dotson Moseley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Harvey Stepp; her only child, Brenda Lynn Fulford; and her beloved sister, Tommie Sue Tarver.

She is survived by her only grandchild, Wayne Fulford of South Haven Mississippi; niece, Tracy Stepp Moon and nephew Stacy Stepp both of Eudor; and her special caretakers, Shane and Dawn Atkins of Louann, Arkansas.

Marvelene professed her faith at an early age. She was a member of Scott Memorial Methodist Church in Eudora where she served as church secretary for a time.

Marvelene was a very humble and selfless person. She made positive impressions up until her day of departure. She was well-known by many for her good nature and her love of all domestic and farm animals, flowers, and the outdoors. She also enjoyed gardening, canning fruits and vegetables, tending to her family produce stand, and raising those farms animals she loved, such as chickens, cows, and sheep.

Marvelene will be missed but her positive life effects will live on.

A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
