Doylene Kellum Ricks, 49, of Hamburg, died November 10, 2021, at her residence.
Mrs. Ricks was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana, a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1989 graduate of Hamburg High School.
She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family and she attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing with friends and relatives. She will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Gale Kelley Land in 2011, and her grandparents, Andrew and Evangeline Kelley and Sam and Elise Land.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Franklin Ricks; two sons, Sam Ricks and Mathew Ricks; two daughters, Rebekah Kelley and husband, Shannon, and Katie Savoie and husband, Steve, all of Hamburg; her father and step-mother, Sammy and Helen Land of Montrose; three brothers, Stacy Lee Kellum and wife, Renee, of Yellville, Chris Kellum of Conway and Sam “Trey” Land and wife, DeAndria, of Crossett; six grandchildren, Hunter Kelley, Jonathon Kelley, Tanner Kelley, Sadie Gill, Addie Gill and Richard Gill and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Thursday, November 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 12, at 2 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with Bro. Tim Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Trafalgar Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Dakota Rogers, Jerad Selby, Trey Land, Bob Young, Bobby Fisher and Tommy Frazer. Honorary pallbearers are Stacy Kellum, Chris Kellum and Trent Land.
