The Drew Central School Board has approved a new superintendent contract hiring Billy Williams as the new superintendent of the Drew Central School District, effective July 1.
Williams, the Woodlawn School District superintendent and a former Monticello High School principal, was selected from a field of five candidates considered for the Drew Central position.
Williams’ annual salary will be $93,000 with the standard Drew Central School employee benefit package. His contract runs from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014. The board has the option to renew or enter into a new contract with Williams after one year.
