The annual Drew County Fair Parade in Monticello begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday. The parade will take its traditional route down North Main, around the town square, and disband near Jackson Builders Supply.  Other fair events this week include:

Monday, September 17
Gospel & Praise — Homer Pace Auditorium at 7 p.m.
Arts Crafts Exhibits — 1- 6 p.m. EHC building

Tuesday, September 18
Parade on Main Street — 5 p.m.
Arts & Crafts Exhibits on display — 5 p.m.
Sneak-a-peak carnival rides at the Drew County fairgrounds — 6-10 p.m.
Livestock & Poultry entries 8- 4 p.m. (will remain on display until Saturday at 8 p.m.).

Wednesday, September 19
Armband night — 6-10 p.m.

Thursday, September 20
Senior Citizens Day — 10 a.m. 2 p.m.
Armband night — 6-10 p.m.

Friday, September 21
Open Rodeo — 8 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 22
Halter (horse) Show — 10 a.m. near rodeo arena
Armband Day — 1-5 p.m.
Open Rodeo — 8 p.m.

Sunday, September 23
All exhibits & premium checks must be picked up between 2-4 p.m.

Tuesday-Saturday, Sept. 18-22
Nightly drawing for prize money in the breezeway between the educational building and the commercial building  — 9:15 p.m.

Fair admission —  $2 ages 6 and up; $1 for ages 2-5. No admission charge for children under the age of 2.
