Drew County Republicans will resume their monthly meetings on January 14 at 6 p.m. The meetings are held at the Union Bank Community Building at 775 Edgewood in Monticello.
The guest speaker for January be 4th District Congressional candidate, Tommy Moll.
Moll, a Hot Springs businessman investing in the energy sector is a sixth-generation Arkansan whose family moved to Arkansas over 150 years ago to start a farm in Columbia County. Three generations later, his grandfather moved to Garland County to raise a family and run a small business on the shores of Lake Hamilton.
The meeting is open to the public.
“Come and join us as we work to build a strong Republican Party in Drew County,” said Diana Harton, chairman of the Drew County Republican Party.
From what my associate tells me, the local GOP is avoiding the issue of how the Tea Party is splitting the GOP and how it’s killing both parties in the process.
Just like one little rural church breaking off to another church because a group of adults act like bible-banging children.
Now the tea party has joined church and state and this is the results…Jealousy, envy, division, lies, gossip, and on and on and on…you people claim to be Christians, but you’re not.
Avoidance is futile-you’ll have to address it sooner rather than later, and then you’ll find it’s too little too late. There was nothing you could have done anyway.
It’s like small rural churchs splitting off and starting their own church over things so
And there the GOP lay, gut shot and bleeding profusely from fatal wounds inflicted by Tea Party shock troops that also lay dead and dying from fatal wounds…wounds inflicted by GOP defenders. It will be the end of both.
And the Progressive Democrats look on, positioning themselves for the most extreme political shift since Eisenhower was shown the door by JFK.
Hillary Clinton will be elected President of the United States in 2016, and will be re-elected for a second term in 2020. About that there is nothing you can do or could have done.
Judges will be appointed, laws will change, progress will be made. You will change or be left behind…your choice.
Stay with me, and when I get back from the store I’ll tell you what doomed the right wing in this country…probably forever.
I’m back, and you wouldn’t believe what they’re selling in the stores out here in the Great Pacific Northwest. Surreal.
Now to the subject:
What one person, one event, doomed both the GOP and the Teabag Party forever?
Answer: Sarah Palin
Had John McCain not chosen that airhead as his running mate, the Republicans would have won the White House and the Progressive Democrats would be out of the picture for decades. Instead it’s just the opposite.
Only that and nothing more.
