Drew County Assessor Beth Davis announced Wednesday that she is seeking reelection to a fourth term in office. Davis, a Democrat, served as deputy assessor for 15 years prior to being elected as county assessor.
Citing her experience, Davis is asking voters for their continued support in the upcoming election.
During her terms in office, the Drew County Assessor’s Office has added online assessments, online access to parcel data and is currently working on GIS mapping.
“It has been a pleasure serving the citizens of Drew County as assessor,” Davis said in her campaign announcement. “With my experience in the office, I would like to ask for your continued support and vote in the upcoming election.”
Davis is a member of a number of professional and government associations including the Association of Arkansas Counties, Assessor’s Association, Arkansas chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers, and the International Association of Assessing Officers.
Davis and her husband Bruce are the parents of one child. She is the daughter of Wanda Young and the late Diddle Young.
