A Drew County woman is facing felony charges after leading law enforcement officials early Wednesday afternoon on a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle on U.S. 425 South in Drew County.
The chase, which was captured on a police dash camera, reached speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour, weaving in and out of traffic.
The woman, identified as Haley Cheramie of Drew County, was stopped in a rolling-block when the truck she was driving smashed into the back of Drew County Sheriff Mark Gober’s truck. Gober then shot out the front tire of the truck she was driving to prevent her from escaping.
