A Dumas man has been arrested in connection with a June 11 shooting that left two 18-year-old Dumas men dead.
At his first appearance hearing Friday, Vernyell Mosby, 32, of Dumas, was ordered to be held without bond on two counts of capital murder in connection with the deaths of Michael Reeves and Kentarious Madden, both 18, of Dumas.
Reeves and Madden suffered apparent gunshot wounds. The cause of death, however, is pending an autopsy by the state Medical Examiner.
The Arkansas State Police assisted the Dumas Police Department in the investigation.
