Drew County authorities believe they have solved three recent commercial burglaries in Southeast Arkansas with the arrest of a Lincoln County man and a Pine Bluff man.

Dante Knight, 24, of Gould, admitted to authorities that he and Deundrea Craig, 23, of Pine Bluff were the persons responsible for the burglary of the Winchester Store in Drew County and the Subway in McGehee, according to a news release from the Drew County Sheriff’s Office.

Both burglaries occurred this week. The McGehee burglary occurred Monday night and the Winchester burglary occurred around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Knight, according to the news release, also told authorities that he burglarized the Subway in Star City earlier this month.

Utilizing security camera surveillance footage and evidence collected at the scene of the Winchester store, the Drew County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Gould Police Department, arrested Knight and Craig at Knight’s Gould residence, according to the news release.

Knight and Craig are both being held at the Drew County Detention Center. Knight’s bond was set at $20,000 while Craig’s bond was set at $35,000.
