Lake Chicot State Park will host a eagle watch boat tour on Lake Chicot on Tuesday, Jan. 25 from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
Step aboard a 24-foot boat with a park interpreter to explore what makes Lake Chicot State Park a great place for an eagle. This gently gliding lake tour program is 1 hour and 45 minutes of fun-filled discovery. Life jackets will be provided and required for all participants. Water, insect repellent, and sunscreen are recommended. Registration and fees are required for the tour. Space is limited to 10 participants.
The cost is $10 for adults and $6 for children (6 to 10 years old). There is no cost for children under the age of six.
Register by calling the visitor center at 870-265-5480 or stopping by the visitor center 2542 Hwy. 257 in Lake Village prior to the tour. Fees will be accepted at the visitor center upon registration at least 15 minutes prior to start of tour.
