Earl Delwyn Jarrell, 65, of Star City, passed away July 22, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.

Dell served in Vietnam with the United States Air Force and was a retired teacher for the Star City School District. He was a graduate of Star City High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He enjoyed martial arts, taxidermy, antique car restoration and was an avid outdoorsman.

Mr. Jarrell was born July 3, 1949 in Pine Bluff to the late Doyle and Bernice Parker Jarrell.

Also preceding him in death was a brother, Paul Jarrell.

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Anderson Jarrell of Star City; a son, Brad Jarrell of Star City; a daughter, Andria Cantrell (Mickey) of Dumas; three brothers, Murphy Jarrell (Bernice) of Pine Bluff, James Jarrell (Kay) of Star City and Lynn Jarrell (Vonda) of Star City; three grandchildren, Matthew Cantrell, Cody Cantrell and Paisley Cantrell.

Funeral services will be held July 25 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro Don Borland officiating. Visitation is July 24 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery near Star City.
