Earl Sidney Snow, 92, of McGehee, passed away on June 27, 2015 at his home.
He was a farmer, a gardener, a staple at the Farmers Market, and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Mr. Snow was born on August 3, 1922 at McArthur and was the oldest of 13 brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents C.E. and Lavana Miles Snow; stepmother, Gladys Snow; sons, Larry Snow and Infant Snow; brothers, Oliver Snow, Caleb Snow, Doug Snow and Charlie Snow; a sister, Marie Poyner; a granddaughter, Tamara Snow; and a grandson, Ricky Wilson.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia Snow; sons, Barton Snow and his wife Brenda of Owasso, Oklahoma and Virgil Snow of McGehee; daughter, Thelma Reeves and her husband Donald of McGehee; brothers, Jessie Snow and wife Vera, Lewis Snow, Obie Snow and his wife Mildred, Otis Snow and Gary Snow and his wife Billye; sisters, Debra Ragen and Shirley Kozubski and her husband Ronnie; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two more on the way.
Visitation will be June 30 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. Funeral Services will be held at July 1 at 2 p.m. at the McGehee Church of the Nazarane with Revs. Ben White and George Crumbly officiating. Burial will be at McArthur Cemetery. Arrangements are by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service.
