Earl “Son” Davis Cox, 82, of Watson passed away on July 27, 2017 in Little Rock.
He was a member of the Watson United Methodist Church and a lifelong farmer and rancher. He served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957.
Mr. Cox was born on June 30, 1935 and was the son of the late Earl “Bud” Cox and Mary L. Taylor Cox.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cox was preceded in death by his brother, William Eddie Cox.
Survivors are his wife, Ermalee “Jane” Isom Cox of Watson; three sons, William Earl Cox, Lee Davis Cox and Keith Owens; two daughters, Mary L. Cox Bryant and Debra J. Cox Craddock; two sisters, Virginia “Sis” Cox Leach of Star City and Juanita K. Cox Jones of Watson; eight grandchildren, Brandy Bryant (Erick) Roebuck, David B. (Ashton) Cox, Zachary (Alex) Craddock, Monica Jane Craddock, Kimberlee S. Cox, Benjamin Owens, Sally Owens and Jake Owens; six great grandchildren, Susan Grace Bishop, Jackson Bryant Bishop, Bradlee Davis Cox, Avery Skye Lucus, Finnian Joseph Roebuck, Enslee Cate Lenderman; and many nieces and nephews that loved him like a father.
Visitation and graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 30 at Watson cemetery with Rev. Willie Plunkett officiating. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. and the service begins at 2:30 p.m.
