Earline Long, 81, of Star City passed away on March 29, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Lincoln County on April 21, 1938 to the Late Jessie Ray Case and Laura May McGriff Case.

Mrs. Long worked as a farmer and was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a faithful member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of over 64 years, Frank H. Long of Star City; two sons, Franklin Long of Star City, and Scott Long (Amber) of East End; two daughters, Debbie Cook (Pete) of White Hall and Laura Shepherd (Anthony) of Cabot; 11 grandchildren, Shannon Long, Lindsey Pacheco, Matt Long, Anna Fizgibon, Jack Fizgibon, Dillion Campbell, Michael Shepherd, Emma Shepherd, Whitney Shepherd, Noah Long, and Abby Long, and four great grandchildren.

A private family graveside service will be held at Shady Grove Cemetery. Bro. Mike Powell and Bro. Tom Lamb will officiate. Grandsons will be honorary pallbearers.
