Ernest Donald Brinson, 72, of the Jennie Community near Lake Village, died Friday, October 25, 2013, at his home.

He was a retired air conditioning, heating and electrical contractor, an U.S. Army veteran having served overseas in Germany, and a member of Jennie Baptist Church.

He was born May 12, 1941 in Dunn, La. to the late Rev. Sam Brinson Sr. and Maudie Monroe Brinson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

Survivors are his wife, Jeanette Williams Brinson of Jennie; a son, Jimmy Brinson of West Monroe, La.; two daughters, Donna Pace and Melissa Brinson, both of Lake Village; a brother, Sam Brinson Jr. of West Monroe, La.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, October 26 at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Sunday, October 27 at Jennie Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Green and Bro. James Dykes officiating. Burial will follow in Jennie Cemetery.
