Edith F. Rushing, 77, of Crossett, passed away on February 15, 2016.
She was born on September 11, 1938 in Hope and was the daughter of the late Jerry Cecil and Dorothy Edith White Whittington.
Mrs. Rushing was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, camping and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church for many years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by her first husband, George Tyler, and a grandson, Christopher Tyler.
Survivors include her husband, James Rushing of Crossett; four sons, John Tyler, Sr. (Tina) of Crossett, Gary Allen Tyler of Carriere, Mississippi, Jeffrey Scott Tyler (Angela) and Darren Lee Tyler (Mary), all of Crossett; a sister, Betty Huber of Crossett; three step-sons, James Ed Rushing of Fayetteville, Robert and Charles Rushing, both of El Dorado; 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on February 18, at 2 p.m. at North Crossett First Baptist Church with Bros. Robin Allen and John Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at North Crossett First Baptist Church in Crossett.
