Edward Dean Milburn

Edward “Eddie” Dean Milburn, 60, of Star City, passed away March 12, 2022 at JRMC in Pine Bluff.

He was born January 8, 1962 in Dermott to the late John Edward and Bernice Sawyer Milburn.

He was of the Baptist faith, was the maintenance supervisor for the Arkansas Department of Correction at the Cummins Unit and sold local produce with the Three old Men Produce.

Eddie was an avid outdoorsman and a member of Jake’s Hunting Club in Hermitage, was a master project starter and not finishing them, enjoyed visiting with friends, was a loving family man and especially loved being a grandfather.

Also preceding him in death were his wife, Angela Milburn; and a brother, Tony Milburn.

Survivors include a son, Robert Jones of New Edinburg; two daughters, Renee (Randall) Davis and Christy (Michael) Smith, all of Star City; two brothers, Tommy (Jeannie) Milburn of Star City and Joey (Jamie) Milburn of White Hall; sister, Cindy (Calvin) Barta of Palestine, Texas; sister-in-law, Cynthia “Cindy” (Rick) Angle of Benton; and four grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Taylor Smith, Sky-Lynn Davis, and Carson Smith.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 26, at 3 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City. Angelia Huggins, Elder Antwain Huggins and Bro. Calvin Barta will officiate. Visitation is Saturday, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
