Edward Elzie Barnett, 63, of Crossett, passed away on April 27, 2016.
He worked at Georgia Pacific for 23 years and enjoyed music, fishing, playing golf and woodworking. He was a member of Pine Grove Church of God.
Mr. Barnett was born on January 16, 1953 and was the son of Margaret Brennon Barnett and the late Leonard Norris Barnett.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Jason High and a brother-in-law, Vance High.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Mary Gwendolyn Barnett; two sons, Mark Barnett (Robin) of Crossett, Brent Barnett of Magnolia; two step-daughters, Stacy McDaniel (Kevin) of Mt. Pine and Valerie Mullins (Wade) of Kentucky; two step-sons, Kurt Little of Beekman, Louisiana and Greg Little (Sheena) of Ft. Hill; his mother, Margaret Barnett; a brother, Keith Barnett (Clara); two sisters, Macky Dodson (Wayne), Judy Cook (Larry), all of Crossett; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on April 30 at 10 a.m. at Pine Grove Church of God on White Arkansas Rd with Bros. Doug Edwards and Kevin McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Unity Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
