Edward Lee Oltmann, 84, of Monticello, formerly of Ulm, passed away May 21, 2014.

Mr. Oltmann farmed at Ulm for many years and moved to Monticello in 1978 to farm until he retired in 2002. He is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Betty Louise and his parents, Adolph E. and Marie Oltmann.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Campbell and husband Jim of Baton Rouge, La. and Janice Shrum and husband Gary of Monticello; three brothers, Adolph Oltmann and Bill Oltmann both of Brinkley and Charles Oltmann of Ulm; two grandchildren, Gabe Shrum of Rogers and Heather Shrum Carter and husband Nick of Monticello; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Carter, Reagan Shrum and Gillian Shrum.

A graveside service will be held May 24 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church Ulm Cemetery. Family and friends will gather after the service at the Zion Lutheran Church Community Room.
