The event included questions with various point values in eight agriculture economics categories – management, marketing, quantitative, microeconomics, macroeconomics, resource policy, agribusiness and finance, and potpourri.  Teams were composed of three students, all from different institutions.   UAM was competing in the event for the 15th consecutive year.

UAM students attending were Nick Bateman of Grapevine, Nik George of Monticello, Brittany Harpole of El Dorado, Austin Henderson of McGehee, Tyler Hicks of Prattsville, Lauren Hodge of Clarendon, April Quattlebaum of Grady, and Andrew Raddle of Pine Bluff.  Dr. Bob Stark, professor of agricultural economics and faculty advisor, accompanied the students.

The event drew 80 agricultural economics students from 17 universities. In addition to the Quiz Bowl competition, students attended selected paper and poster presentations in other agricultural disciplines.
