Elbert Thomas Cashion, Jr., 93, of Lake Village died on August 18, 2016 at Lake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lake Village.
He owned Chicot Commerce Agency and was an avid golfer and hunter. He was a member of the Lake Village Baptist Church.
Mr. Cashion was born on March 19, 1923 in Eudora and was the son of the late Elbert Thomas Cashion Sr. and Willie Myrtle (Stephenson) Cashion. He married Fanchon Hampton on March 28, 1944 in Lake Village,
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Clo Hall, Dot East, and Marlys Turnage.
He is survived by a daughter, Karen Rives and husband Bill of Little Rock; two sons, Paul Cashion and wife Mary Kay of Lake Village and Mike Cashion and wife Paula of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Scott Cashion of Fayetteville, Morgan Willis of Little Rock, Paul Cashion Jr. of Lake Village, and Robbie Estes of Bentonville and host of nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m on August 22 at Lake Village Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Chennault officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
